Dam It Getaway is a beautiful property set on 78 acres of farmland in the country. It is the perfect pet friendly country property offering self contained accommodation in the Gloucester and Barrington Tops region.
We are situated 8kms from Gloucester and only 30 minutes to the World Heritage Barrington Tops National Park.
The Bowman River runs through the property of Dam It Getaway and is a nice place to sit and relax.
Take a walk to the river where you can swim in Summer, or go for a paddle in the canoe provided, or just let the kids and your pet run and play.

The property has an outdoor pool and spa with magnificent views over the valley. The perfect
place to sit back, relax and have a drink!
The kids can play in the pool, ride their push bikes, play games around the lawn and gardens with your pet or ours,feed the birds or pat the animals and get a small taste of country life.
Take the kids for a fish on the Dam. We have "catch and release" fishing on the dam that is stocked with Bass.
On the property there is a 3 bedroom Homestead which sleeps 6 people comfortably and a 2 bedroom cabin which sleeps 4 people. We can add extra single beds where necessary. Both are self contained and have all the mod cons that you need to have on holiday.
The pool and spa are conveniently located in the middle of both accommodation places and are shared between guests in both homestead and the cabin.
Dam It Getaway also has a horse, a donkey, 2 dogs and 2 cats.
We are pet friendly so bring your animals along. We are happy for your pets to run around where ever they please and play with our pets.
